Music Tells the Story Festival
Music Tells the Story is our theme recital for students (of member teachers) of all ages, abilities, and instruments. Students entering write a story about their piece in one paragraph. The stories are included on the program for the audience to enjoy and the students benefit from writing a personal and engaging tale about their music.
In-Hand Deadline for entry is Tuesday, January 13, 2026.
The Music Tells the Story Festival Form is found in the Student Activities Booklet. In order to enter students, you must download, read and use the form in the Student Activities Booklet (SAB), found on this website.
GCMTA members in good standing are eligible to enter their students in GCMTA events. If you wish to enter your child or student into a GCMTA event, and are not a member, please contact our Membership Chair, and join here.
