Music Tells the Story is our theme recital for students (of member teachers) of all ages, abilities, and instruments.  Students entering write a story about their piece in one paragraph. A noncompetitive event - audience is important!  Students (of teacher members) play a minimum of 2 minutes of memorized music.  A carefully selected judge from outside the association listens, writes comments, and assigns a rating which can be applied toward Gold Cup points.  Literature requirements are the same as in other GCMTA events.  A student […]
